UK Government Emergency Alert System Test
I know this is not hosting or technology related but I think its important that everyone is doing their best to spread the word that this is happening.
The UK government is testing its new Emergency Alerts system in England and Wales on 23rd April 2023 which according to some sources will even if your phone is on silent still make an audible sound to make you aware of this important notification.
There are a number of groups passing around advice that if you have a smart phone hidden for any reason to ensure that this device is turned OFF fully and not just left on silent for the duration of the test as this could result in the hidden device being found.
