Well its been a year!
I say its been a year, but that is not actually really true.
redIT Hosting Limited – the company that we are now moving too is 1 year old today (25th January 2023), but the whole business ‘redIT’ has now been around for 19 years.
I can honestly say that its been an interesting 12 months, getting my head around all the company documents and slowly moving our first customer over from redIT to redIT Hosting Limited.
I won’t lie, not everything that I wanted to have done by how is done. In actual fact I think that the development of the new redIT Customer Portal is about 6 months behind where I wanted to be.
With that said though, we have also managed to upgrade our whole server farm in our Fareham data centres and all our services have been moved over to new hardware.
So what next?
To be honest, the plan from our side has not changed. Continue to develop our own in-house customer billing platform and as parts of this are written, tested and available to be use migrate our customers over from redIT to redIT Hosting Limited.
